This modern loft apartment (Built Dec. 2010) is located just a 7-8 minute walk to the Sunnegga departure station and bus departure point and 10 minutes to the town centre & Gornergrat station. It is one of two identical apartments in the same building and is in a quiet and residential area with good local amenities (take-away and restaurants). The Loft apartment (lift) comfortably sleeps 6 - 7 people and is comprised of: two double bedrooms (one of which separates to make a twin)and a third bedroom with 3 beds. All of the bedrooms are south facing with a view of the Matterhorn and two of them have balconies. Each bedroom has an alarm clock with built in iPod docking station. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a double bath/WC and the second one with a massage shower/WC, both have hairdryers. There is a spacious, well equipped open-plan kitchen (dishwasher, steamer, coffee machine, microwave etc...), that leads onto the dining area and lounge. The dining table comfortably seats 8 people and leads onto the south facing balcony. The lounge area has a wood burning fireplace and is light and comfortable with luxurious modern furnishings, and also leads onto the south facing balcony with lovely views of the Matterhorn and surrounding mountains. The lounge is equipped with a plasma television with English TV channels, DVD player, CD/Radio/I-pod docking station and free Wireless Internet connection. For communal use there is a washing room with a washing machine and tumble dryer and in the ski room there is a heated boot rack. Bedrooms There are two double bedrooms with double beds one of which can be separated to make a twin. The third bedroom is a twin with a third single bed if required. Baby cots are available for Chf 50 per week including bed linen and towel. Bathrooms There are 2 bathrooms, one with a double bath with a shower and separate shower head, a double wash basin and WC and the second one has a powerful massage shower with double wash basin and a WC. Both are very spacious. Both have hairdryers. Kitchen The kitchen is very spacious and open-plan with all modern appliances (oven, steamer, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and Delizio coffee machine....) and has ample work space with its' central cooking area. There is a washing machine and dryer available for communal use in the building. Due to its' open-plan design the kitchen is conveniently located close to the dining area. Living room The living room has a plasma TV, with 190 cable channels in several languages (ITV, BBC). There is a media system that plays DVDs, CDs and has an iPod docking station. The wood burning fireplace makes it the perfect retreat for cosy nights in. The living room leads onto the south facing balcony and has stunning views of the Matterhorn. Chambres Il ya deux chambres doubles avec lits doubles dont peuvent être séparés pour faire un jumeau. La troisième chambre est une chambre double avec un troisième lit si nécessaire. Des lits bébé sont disponibles au prix de CHF 50 par semaine y compris le linge de lit et des serviettes. Salle de bain Il y a 2 salles de bains, une avec une double salle de bain avec une douche et un pommeau de douche séparée, double lavabo et WC et le second a une puissante douche de massage avec double lavabo et un WC. Les deux sont très spacieux. Tous les deux ont un sèche-cheveux. Cuisine La cuisine est très spacieuse et ouverte avec tous les appareils modernes (four, four à vapeur, micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, réfrigérateur, congélateur, machine à café Delizio ....) et dispose d'un espace de travail spacieux avec sa «zone de cuisson central. Il ya une machine à laver et sèche-linge à usage collectif dans le bâtiment. En raison de sa «conception ouverte de la cuisine est idéalement situé à proximité de la salle à manger. Salon Le salon dispose d'une télévision à écran plasma, avec 190 chaînes du câble en plusieurs langues (ITV, BBC). Il ya un système multimédia qui lit les DVD, les CD et possède une station d'accueil pour iPod. Premium weeks are Christmas, New Year and school holiday weeks During the winter season we take only weekly bookings. Sunday change-overs. During the summer, off-season and on last minute bookings special offers & short breaks (min 3 days) are available. A surcharge of CHF 150 will apply. Preferred payment method is by bank transfer.
